Frame design includes much more than putting a frame around your artwork.   The design process is one of the most fun and creative aspects of picture framing.  Using color theory, design elements and our extensive experience, we will guide you through the process.  The elements of framing we will discuss with you during the design phase include:

     Location for finished framed art

     Mouldings (Frames)

     Matting

     Fillets

     Glazing (glass)

     Liners

     Stacked frames

Location of Framed Art

When designing, we consider with the client where in the home or business the art will be displayed.  What colors, styles, and lighting intensity are in the space? While harmony is desired, it is not always necessary to attempt an exact "match" to a color or furniture style - frames offer the opportunity to create interest by allowing different design elements in the room to interplay.  Safety is also considered; for example, art that will hang in a child's room or in a restaurant is often glazed with acrylic instead of glass.

Confidence

Your art and memorabilia will remain on our premises.  Here at Fairway Frames, everything is under security and completely insured under one roof. We cut, mount, fit, and assemble the entire frame package, ensuring we have full control of quality from start to finish.
